Hey Broham...

Q:  It looks like Kris Humphries was originally drafted in the 11th rd last year by another team.  He must have been dropped, because my team (Docs Orders) show him as being picked up in the 16th rd.  Should'nt I then be able to keep him with a 14th rd pick rather than a 9th?  Is the 'keeper pick' based on the original draft position, or the position in which your own team acquired him?

For the record (since keepers are locking any minute now), I'd keep Humphries if it's my 14th instead of my 9th.

 Thanks for the wisdom.

 Brett

Yes.  Keeper rounds are determined by original draft position.   Because the 15th round doesn't occur until after the 3rd week of the season and the 16th until after the 6th, its possible to drop a player and for another team to then "redraft" him.   If the keeper round reset, you could drop your 1st rounder right before your 15/16th round pick and get an allstar with 14th round rights...

Good to see another Humphries believer!

Point taken.   Thanks.   And yes, I'm a Humphries believer, but much more so in the 14th than in the 9th... (although the 9th was tempting).

I think he's been going around the 11th so far this year...  The Raptors are just so deep, its hard to know what his role is going to be.
