With four (arguably five) stacked teams in the OR, I think it's gonna come down to who stays healthy. Seems like it's been a pretty injury-light season among the L's superstars, though Brandon Roy's gimpy right now, and my FW tandem of Pau and Love have had their issues.
Great point...have been thinking that for a while- as that fifth best team, NY is fully aware that our 207 ppg is looked down upon by the big 4. But being a fifth wheel on a 10-game winning streak is kind of fun. From our perspective, only the Brocheese stand in the way of a trip to the Finals, and with the curse of Boozer haunting them we fully expect Chris Paul to get injured and shut it down for the season by KF Playoff time. As for the big 3 Keystoners, it would be nice if you time out your devastating injury just right to make the Finals and then become incapacitated. Short of that, or NY landing Baron Davis, or LeBron posting a 1.500 for a month, or someone hacking in to change the depth charts, my $ is on Doug and Trinidad to take the crown.
@schottsie
Sorry about chris paul broham but boozer and his karma are to blame
Yeah bad Boozer karma has found its first victim.
Broham, any chance you can trade him to Valley Forge, New York or Trinidad now so he can work his magic again?
Ouch!
"Sources close to the situation confirmed to ESPN.com on Sunday that Paul tore cartilage in his left knee and will be forced to undergo arthroscopic surgery.
The Hornets are optimistic, sources said, that Paul will miss only one month, including the Feb. 14 All-Star Game. But they won't establish a firmer timetable on Paul's return until after he has surgery."
New look Howler Monkeys are injury proof!
