I was watching ESPN last night at 6pm and there was no news of Mike's decision. Not even a hint.

I know. You think they could have Chad Ford provide some analysis in lieu of one of the four Bret Favre stories that run nightly. Tangentially, I think we should arrange for a ZZ Ray-Schottsie mock draft with commentary, a la Simmons and Ford on espn.com. It would be priceless.
In parallel universe, I think ZZ and I were the SNL parlor sports announcers that are always sponsored by female products. I call Sudakis, ZZ can be Forte.
@schottsie
Looks like LeBron will be taking his talents to Oscar Robertson!
Except it says here theres no freaking way Ciwasko takes LeBron with the 1st pick...
Damn, I go away for a three day weekend and miss out on all this excitement!!
And Broham and I have an even $ side bet on who has the best KFAvg. next year between LeBron and Durant. LeBron's official welcome press conference/party will be coming withing the next few days. It is taking longer than expected to set up the smoke machines.
Somehow, even though I had the #3 pick (since traded to 5), I wasn't even aware of the battle for #1. Ah, well.
mrob: in your defense, following the race for the #1 in OR every year is like going to see the same movie annually where you already know the ending. The Schottsies' brass realizes that an official press conference is way overdue, but the smoke machines are more of a logistical nightmare than one might imagine, and we ran into some legal difficulties in connection with the franchise's eleventh hour move to South Beach as part of the LeBron campaign. Once relocation back to NY is complete, an announcement will be forthcoming, but word on the street is that this year's announcement might take place on the eve of the draft, as part of the franchise officially making the #1 selection. There will be a tad more suspense than usual, as a multimedia presentation involving tequila, and either the #7 or the #8 (consecutive years with franchise if drafted this season), is planned. The type of presentation that promises to get interesting by #4 or #5.
For a 9th consecutive season, the NY and now South Beach (formerly NY) Schottsies have acquired the rights to LeBron James. After selecting him 15th overall as a rookie, LeBron has been the #1 OR pick ever since. Many thanks to fellow owner and secret comedic genius ZZ Ray for facilitating this inevitable annual development - super-fair trade details are below.
After LeBron's disappointing Finals performance, the Schottsie's brass is planning an unprecedented celebration of LeBronage during the annual KFBA draft pilgrimage to the suburbs of Baltimore, in an effort to inspire LeBron over the championship-time agressiveness/clutchness hump.
Last year's celebration consisted of public appearances of an LBJ head shaving, a live webcast, and NINE, rather than the scheduled eight shots of Jaegermeister within one hour, each while the Midnight Express Tag Team theme song was blasting in the Colonel's man cave.
In an effort to be a better friend to and more considerate to physical host Colonel, and spiritual host Broham, this year's celebration/feat/presentation will not directly involve alcohol or other drugs. At the same time that the LeBronage celebration becomes less risque, please trust that it will become more impressive. Since labor day '10, the only other predetermined, super-hyped feat involved successfully predicting the exact score of an NFL game at halftime (otherwise known as touching the future).
So needless to say the bar has been set high. Eating 64 chick-fil-a nuggets in an hour FOR STARTERS-level high. Channeling David Blaine, Deepak Chopra and Mariska Hargitay-level high. More to come...hoping we get some surprise out of towners for the draft this year!
LeBron will make a full statement at a later time, but wanted to let fans know that he will not be playing overseas in the event of a lockout. A NBA Jams-style 2 on 2 dream-pairing tour of the USA remains on the table, however.

Although I feel like I have been violated, it has been worth it to see my good friend Mr. schottsie get what he wanted. I did not want this to turn into a contest to see how much he would give up to get the coveted (LeBron) #1 pic; I just wanted to get it over with and give it up to him. I want to see the celebration Mr. schottsie plans on beaming to the rest of us (if he could channel the Mindfreak it would be great!). I congratulate Mr. schottsie, and wish South Beach well. My Master's Of War plan on having their best season ever, which should not be hard to do, since we have always sucked.
I still have my headquarters in East Tennessee, but I have since expanded into Vero Beach also. I am now a very young "snowbird", and will not miss the cold winters in the mountains.
Now, I wish all my fellow owners well, and I HOPE we have a season.
(I don't even like James)

I wonder what odds you could have gotten that Durant would not have had the best KFBA average on his TEAM!
