It's my humble opinion that anyone who is dropped from a team before Round 16 is drafted should be available for pick up regardless of the 4 year cutoff rule for un/restricted free agents.

This may be too difficult to do programming-wise, but my thought is that if someone was already on a roster, he shouldn't suddenly become unavailable when dropped.
I just think he should lose his restricted status since he's already been owned.

thanks for your time

I don't know how the Colonel feels about this, but seeing just how barren the wire is, I'm inclined to agree...   The problem I believe is that Restricted/Unrestricted status is determined at the Association not league level.  The minister of defense will probably happily tell you that I originally guaranteed that this wouldn't be a problem (we all make mistakes)...

Honestly I like alot of the ideas that have been floated on game improvements over the last month or so... big problem remains that pretty much every change suggested (even what would appear to be a small one) requires some hard core programming time... which we are severely lacking at this time.  Crying
