Wanted: B-League Commissioner

The Colonel seeks a B-League League Commissioner in which to vest his fascist-like power for all League decisions.

The commissioner must:

1)  Own a team in the B-League

The commissioner will have authority to:

1) Overturn trades

2) Boot subversive GMs

3) Replace GMs on orphaned teams

The commissioner’s responsibilities will include:

1) Contacting existing B-League GMs to identify who will return next season

2) Creating listings for teams that will be available

3) Outlining a policy on keeper for star trades (a commissioner will now be in full power to disallow them in part or in whole, but must clearly state the criteria under which such decisions will be made up front)

4) Set a draft date and time

5) Determine pick intervals

6) Keeping the league message boards active and responsible

The league may change commissioner at any time during the season or off-season as long as:

1) Another GM volunteers to take over commissioner duties

2) The league holds a vote in which at 75% of the league’s GMs participate (that’s 12 for those of you counting at home)

3) A majority of those votes come in for the new commissioner

Commissioner powers will expand as new tools and site functionality develop.

Should more than one GM come forward for this position there will be a league vote.

Should no GM come forward to accept this position the league will close.

if nobody else wants this prestigious title, i'll campaing to be commish of the b-league. Any refs seen anywhere close to casinos or mob guys will be shot on the spot.

I second that nomination.

I think we have to decide on a cost of entry before we re-up.  I'm good for anything up to $50.

I don't think there were enough people down for making this a money league.    And it might be difficult to sell bad teams...  Ben and I were talking about making a new league a money league - that way everyone starts from the same spot.

I've gone ahead and activated trading in the B-League... As commish, your first duty is to outline a keeper for stars trade policy (are they allowed?)
