The Colonel has informed me of an obscure All-Star substitution rule:  that if a player does not qualify for All-Star duty (by reaching the NBA minutes requirement) - then we replace him with the same team's next highest ranked player at that same position.  That would be Kenrick Perkins for Yao and Joe Johnson for Kobe.

This obscure rule was part of the reason for NY's showmanship when giving Oaksterdam's Yao the nod at C2.  We knew we could destroy PA with or without a C2, and Oaksterdam's Kendrick Perkins was the "real" choice anyway, as the owner is a Celtics fan.  Unfortunately, we forgot to trash talk or notify Oaksterdam management until now...
